#Saadhariri: Lebanese PM Steals the Show Following Sudden Resignation and Subsequent Return
Lebanese PM Saad Hariri sent Lebanese Twitter into collective madness after unexpectedly announcing his resignation from Saudi Arabia on November 4, as the public rushed to speculate the underlying reasons behind his sudden move while others suggested a potential detention by Saudi authorities based on body language ‘clues’ from a subsequent interview with journalist Paula Yacoubian. After tons of give and take both in the media and on social media, Hariri put an end to the frenzy by announcing his return to Lebanon on November 21 following quick visits to France and Egypt. Upon his landing, Hariri took part in the official Independence Day celebrations on November 22 and went on to momentarily defer his resignation following discussions with President Michel Aoun.
