Trump’s Official Account Suspended by Rogue Twitter Employee

In other notable Twitter quirks, US President Donald Trump’s official account [@realdonaldtrump] got deactivated out of the blue on November 2 for a total of 11 minutes by a seemingly upset Twitter employee, who was revealed to be a customer service employee on the last day of the job. And while the account was shortly restored to its regular activity, Twitter is said to be investigating the matter and has set to implement the necessary measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Trump himself, on the other hand, addressed the controversy in a tweet posted a day later. “My Twitter account was taken down for 11 minutes by a rogue employee. I guess the word must finally be getting out-and having an impact,” the tweet read.
