Joe Fish Re­sponds to Le­banon’s Black Fri­day Hype with Broke Satur­day Post

Just like the last few years, the Le­banese mar­ket was swept by an un­con­trol­lable avalanche of ‘Black Fri­day’ of­fers and cam­paigns by re­tail­ers from al­most ev­ery in­dus­try. The of­fers shame­lessly un­folded all over so­cial me­dia and SMS mes­sag­ing, ul­ti­mately pick­ing on the nerves of a large ma­jor­ity of the pop­u­la­tion. Joe Fish clev­erly re­sponded to the hype with a post that read “Broke Satur­day/mark it” us­ing the agency’s sig­na­ture col­ors and ever-present fish em­blem. “Black Fri­day” they said… “Best deals of the year” they said… Why didn’t any­body tell us “get ready to spend your week­end at home” though?” the agency cap­tioned the post.
