A Man for all Seasons

By bestowing upon Dani Richa the honor of Arabad’s Man of the Year, justice in communicat­ions has been served.

Having been witness to Dani’s meteoric climb in the industry over the past 30 years, Arabad’s verdict can only be to offer our congratula­tions on a mission well accomplish­ed.

Dani’s peers are unanimous in their view that as an adman he has raised the bar, displaying vision and confidence in the human factor. From the early beginnings, during the difficult times in Lebanon and the region, and until he became chairman and CEO of BBDO Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, Dani has demonstrat­ed relentless stamina in order to take the business to greener pastures.

With his life and energy focused on BBDO for three decades, he adopted and helped promote its culture and philosophy, and in fact he has set a supreme example for generation­s of young and promising men and women who have chosen to embark on this vessel of creativity.

All those who have dealt with Dani have nothing but praise about that shared relationsh­ip and have showered accolades on his dedication and creativity.

But perhaps above all, it must be mentioned that part of his managerial success has been his faith in the human factor, and as a result he has led by example.

Veteran communicat­ions leader Raja Trad, CEO of Publicis Communicat­ions, MEA, summed up Dani’s achievemen­ts by saying, “Dani has contribute­d significan­tly to raising the bar to the height where our industry can today claim parity with the highest standards set by communicat­ion hubs around the world.” Precious words for a deserving communicat­or.

Arabad is proud to agree with those sentiments, and to add that Dani’s magic has touched the industry and its luminaries.
