Designer Bill Gold is the answer. With work spanning seven decades, American Bill Gold has been the man behind some of the most eyecatching Hollywood movie posters, which remain iconic pieces of artwork today; work that has fascinated and intrigued audiences. The veteran illustrator had a hand in more than 2,000 posters. He died May 20, at age 97.
