The Fourth IAA Diploma cer­e­mony

The De­part­ment of Media Stud­ies, Fac­ulty of Hu­man­i­ties (FH) and the IAA Ad­ver­tis­ing Club at Notre Dame Univer­sity-louaize (NDU) or­ga­nized the 4th IAA Diploma Cer­e­mony at the univer­sity’s pre­misses in Is­sam Fares Hall, where NDU grad­u­ates with a B.A. in Ad­ver­tis­ing & Mar­ket­ing were granted the IAA Diploma in Mar­ket­ing Com­mu­ni­ca­tions and An­dre Rizk, Chair­man of Rizk­group Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, was also hon­ored.

At­tend­ing the event were An­dre Rizk of course along with the IAA Chair­man and World Pres­i­dent Felix Tataru; the Pres­i­dent of IAA Le­banon Chap­ter Joe Ay­ache; the Vice-pres­i­dent for Aca­demic Af­fairs Elie Badr, deans, fac­ulty mem­bers, and staff.

An­dre Rizk con­grat­u­lated the stu­dents on their achievement, and in­vited them to de­velop their strengths and skills. He said, “Today and af­ter 53 years in the field, I’m still learn­ing some­thing new ev­ery day. The most im­por­tant thing I have learned over the years is the phi­los­o­phy of Rizk Group “It’s Not Cre­ative Un­less It Sells.”

He added, “The chal­lenges fac­ing the pro­fes­sion of ad­ver­tis­ing in the dig­i­tal age are the big­gest. You are so lucky to have grad­u­ated from NDU. Be ad­ver­tis­ers not busi­ness­men.”

The high­light of the cer­e­mony was a very spe­cial video cel­e­brat­ing the ca­reer and life of Rizk Group’s founder. Dr. Badr pre­sented an hon­orary shield to Rizk. Cer­tifi­cates were then dis­trib­uted to stu­dents and two hon­orary shields were pre­sented to Joe Ay­ache and Felix Tataru.
