The Fourth IAA Diploma ceremony
The Department of Media Studies, Faculty of Humanities (FH) and the IAA Advertising Club at Notre Dame University-louaize (NDU) organized the 4th IAA Diploma Ceremony at the university’s premisses in Issam Fares Hall, where NDU graduates with a B.A. in Advertising & Marketing were granted the IAA Diploma in Marketing Communications and Andre Rizk, Chairman of Rizkgroup Communications, was also honored.
Attending the event were Andre Rizk of course along with the IAA Chairman and World President Felix Tataru; the President of IAA Lebanon Chapter Joe Ayache; the Vice-president for Academic Affairs Elie Badr, deans, faculty members, and staff.
Andre Rizk congratulated the students on their achievement, and invited them to develop their strengths and skills. He said, “Today and after 53 years in the field, I’m still learning something new every day. The most important thing I have learned over the years is the philosophy of Rizk Group “It’s Not Creative Unless It Sells.”
He added, “The challenges facing the profession of advertising in the digital age are the biggest. You are so lucky to have graduated from NDU. Be advertisers not businessmen.”
The highlight of the ceremony was a very special video celebrating the career and life of Rizk Group’s founder. Dr. Badr presented an honorary shield to Rizk. Certificates were then distributed to students and two honorary shields were presented to Joe Ayache and Felix Tataru.
