> Regional creative powerhouse Memac Ogilvy has unveiled its new Cairo office as part of a major restructure in Egypt. The agency has moved house to Maadi, next to Technology City. > TBWA has entered into a regional program with Facebook that is set to roll out in Africa, Middle East, Turkey, Central and Eastern Europe. The TBWA Facebook Foundry is a program focused on inspiration, learning and creativity. As part of this partnership, more than 1500 TBWA employees will benefit from a custom-built Facebook Blueprint learning initiative, which combines online courses, in-person training and the option for certification on Facebook and Instagram campaign implementation and measurement.
> The Dubai-based agency, Socialize, has been acquired by We Are Social. The move is We Are Social’s first acquisition, and extends its network to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for the first time. We Are Social will now have 11 offices across nine countries, bringing its employee count to over 700. Socialize will continue operating as an independent brand under the leadership of Akanksha Goel, Founder and Managing Director.
