> BBDO has won the global cre­ative ac­count for car man­u­fac­turer Ford. WPP ini­tially won the Ford ac­count 75 years ago. In April, Ford launched a global re­view of its cre­ative agen­cies. At the con­clu­sion of the re­view, WPP will con­tinue to han­dle ac­ti­va­tion, in­clud­ing me­dia plan­ning and buy­ing, dig­i­tal and pro­duc­tion. It will also be re­spon­si­ble for ac­ti­vat­ing the Ford brand through key chan­nels and re­gions, through its global Ford agency GTB as well as other WPP agen­cies, while Ford has ap­pointed Om­ni­com Group’s BBDO as its lead cre­ative agency. Wieden+kennedy has also been hired for spe­cial projects and in­no­va­tions.

> Carat Dubai has been awarded the me­dia re­spon­si­bil­i­ties of the largest in­te­grated theme park desti­na­tion in the re­gion, Dubai Parks and Re­sorts fol­low­ing a com­pet­i­tive pitch process. With a man­date to build brand eq­uity of Dubai Parks and Re­sorts as a go-to leisure and en­ter­tain­ment ex­pe­ri­ence, Carat will target res­i­dents of and vis­i­tors to Dubai on a re­gional and global level.

> Prop­erty Fin­der has cho­sen J. Wal­ter Thompson as its com­mu­ni­ca­tion part­ner tar­get­ing the United Arab Emi­rates with im­me­di­ate ef­fect, and to man­age its up­com­ing brand launch. The agency was se­lected amongst mul­ti­ple in­ter­na­tional agen­cies that par­tic­i­pated in its pitch process. Prop­erty Fin­der is a lead­ing on­line por­tal pro­vid­ing the tools to help con­sumers find the prop­er­ties that fit their needs.

Com­mu­ni­ca­tions has been ap­pointed to pro­vide PR and me­dia sup­port for the first ever ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon, which will take place in the UAE cap­i­tal on 7th De­cem­ber 2018.
