Miss Lebanon night has always been a highly awaited annual milestone for Lebanese Twitter, whereby users live-tweet their observations and opinions about the event in a fun and lively atmosphere. The timeline surely did not disappoint this year, which was a special one for the pageant as it was organized by MTV after a lifetime of being broadcasted on LBCI. Keen-eyed tweeps did not spare anyone, from the contestants to the performances and from show presenters Annabella Hilal and Marcel Ghanem to members of the jury, resulting in a priceless night of Twitter-tainment. By the end of the extended live show, Lebanese-russian beauty Maya Raidy, who emerged as a social media favorite and top contender since the beginning of the night after being compared to former Miss Universe Georgina Rizk, was crowned Miss Lebanon 2018.
