EVALUATION & EXPECTATION
I had higher expectations notably from the professionals and I had in mind more variety in the topics. Tolerance was in many cases mixed up with peace, which was very limiting in terms of ideas and thought processing. However, there were some good submissions with very creative approaches and executions, which stood out and made the whole experience very interesting. What can be done for next year is finding a way to reiterate that this is a poster competition and not a magazine ad as many submissions were very crowded with small text and were thus ruled out because they do not match the criteria of a good poster”
THE WINNERS
The winning submissions in both categories were visually appealing while relaying straight-forward messages about tolerance. What is interesting is the diversity of styles and executions while remaining true to the topic.
LAST COMMENT
Tolerance matters today more than ever, and posters too. Posters are more than ever part of the life of the city, any city.
