A tweet that read “LIMONADA 2.0” was sent out on September 29 by Spanish Youtuber El Rubius in the context of a giveaway whereby followers had to retweet the tweet for a chance to win, becoming the most retweeted tweet of the entire year with over 1.5 million retweets.

Most Liked Tweet

The most liked tweet of the year went to world-renowned K-pop band BTS, who hopped on the #Inmyfeelingschallenge train on July 23 by posting a video of one of the band members dancing to Drake’s viral tune, earning a whopping 1.8 million likes.

Most Tweeted About Account

But it does not stop here for South Korean boyband BTS who earned yet another top spot as the most tweeted about account of 2018 and most-tweeted celebrity in the US followed by Lebron James, Kanye West, Drake, South Korean-chinese boyband EXO and Ariana Grande.
