STRANGEST MOMENT | Lebanon’s Largest Drug Haul Leaves Football Field Covered in Hashish

On June 4, pictures of a drug-filled football field in Lebanon went viral on social media, after a whopping 15 tons of hashish were seized by Lebanon's Internal Security Forces (ISF) in what was believed to be the country’s largest-ever drug haul. The raid in question was carried out in the south Beirut slum of Ouzai, as drugs were about to be smuggled abroad using emptied-out paint buckets. The drugs were then laid out in a football field, resulting in puzzling pictures that left the Facebook audience in a funny mix of confusion and disbelief.
