> Following a long pitch process involving several agencies, French automotive manufacturer, Groupe PSA, has selected Dubai-based independent
creative shop, Science & Sunshine, to handle the creative business for Peugeot in the Middle East. The Peugeot account is a significant win for Science & Sunshine, which turns three in April 2019. The agency will handle creative duties for the French automotive brand across the entire Middle East region.
> Duracell has appointed Wunderman Thompson as new global creative partner for international markets, with the exception of the North American region. After a four-month multi agency competitive pitch with well over 10 agencies in the running, Wunderman Thompson will now be partnering up with one of the world’s most known brands, marking a new chapter for both Duracell and the newly formed Wunderman Thompson. The partnership will commence immediately with expected campaigns to roll out later in the year. Marketing consulting partner Flock Associates were the designer and facilitator of the creative pitch process.

Walter Thompson Doha has been appointed by Msheireb Properties, Qatar’s leading sustainable developer and a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation for Education, Sciences and Community Development, to act as their lead advertising communications partner. A full roster of nine major international and local agencies pitched for the high-profile account, which ultimately ended being secured by J. Walter Thompson Doha who will be in charge of developing a communications strategy and creative campaign to support Msheireb Properties’ development project in 2019, as it prepares for a year of activation on Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD), which recently took top award honours at the Smart City World Expo Congress in Barcelona. MDD’S regeneration of Doha’s historic old town, focuses on smart and sustainable living.
