> Fol­low­ing a long pitch process in­volv­ing sev­eral agen­cies, French au­to­mo­tive man­u­fac­turer, Groupe PSA, has se­lected Dubai-based in­de­pen­dent

cre­ative shop, Science & Sun­shine, to han­dle the cre­ative busi­ness for Peu­geot in the Mid­dle East. The Peu­geot ac­count is a sig­nif­i­cant win for Science & Sun­shine, which turns three in April 2019. The agency will han­dle cre­ative du­ties for the French au­to­mo­tive brand across the en­tire Mid­dle East re­gion.

> Du­ra­cell has ap­pointed Wun­der­man Thompson as new global cre­ative part­ner for in­ter­na­tional mar­kets, with the ex­cep­tion of the North Amer­i­can re­gion. Af­ter a four-month multi agency com­pet­i­tive pitch with well over 10 agen­cies in the run­ning, Wun­der­man Thompson will now be part­ner­ing up with one of the world’s most known brands, mark­ing a new chap­ter for both Du­ra­cell and the newly formed Wun­der­man Thompson. The part­ner­ship will com­mence im­me­di­ately with ex­pected cam­paigns to roll out later in the year. Mar­ket­ing con­sult­ing part­ner Flock Associates were the de­signer and fa­cil­i­ta­tor of the cre­ative pitch process.

Wal­ter Thompson Doha has been ap­pointed by Msheireb Prop­er­ties, Qatar’s lead­ing sus­tain­able de­vel­oper and a sub­sidiary of Qatar Foun­da­tion for Ed­u­ca­tion, Sciences and Com­mu­nity Devel­op­ment, to act as their lead ad­ver­tis­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tions part­ner. A full ros­ter of nine ma­jor in­ter­na­tional and lo­cal agen­cies pitched for the high-pro­file ac­count, which ul­ti­mately ended be­ing se­cured by J. Wal­ter Thompson Doha who will be in charge of developing a com­mu­ni­ca­tions strat­egy and cre­ative cam­paign to sup­port Msheireb Prop­er­ties’ devel­op­ment project in 2019, as it pre­pares for a year of ac­ti­va­tion on Msheireb Down­town Doha (MDD), which re­cently took top award hon­ours at the Smart City World Expo Congress in Barcelona. MDD’S re­gen­er­a­tion of Doha’s his­toric old town, fo­cuses on smart and sus­tain­able liv­ing.
