42, vice president for brand partnerships, Stadium Goods, New York
What’s your job?
I spent 20 years as a radio and TV personality— my stage name was Miss Info. Then in October, my family and I opened a consignment luxury sneaker store called Stadium Goods.
What’s your day like?
I wake up at the crack of dawn with the baby—he’s 7 months old. Then we might go to Stadium for some meetings, do some consulting for an ad agency, or work on my book. It’s a parenting guide.
I’m sure the baby changed your fashion priorities.
Definitely. I would describe my style as streetwear mixed with high fashion. It’s like stylish mom.
Is that what the leggings are about?
The short-pants-with-leggings style is something men in Tokyo have done for years. These are shapewear I wore when I was pregnant.
Wait, really? Are those sneakers from your store?
Yes, the newest Yeezys by Kanye West. They came out in November.
Tell me about your jewelry.
Being a mom, I can’t wear anything I can be choked with or have ripped out of my ear. All I wear is my Cartier love bracelet and my engagement ring, which I like to stack with this open diamond ring by Delfina Delettrez just to funk it up.
Is that all?
Oh! I also have a gold tooth. Yeah! It makes people pay attention when I’m talking.
