Twins beat up female cop at police station

DUBAI: Two inebriated British twin sisters shoved down a policewoman and rained her with blows and kicks in front of a police station, a jury heard on Monday.

Both legal consultants, 37, pushed the Emirati victim, 28, and she slumped on her back, hitting her head on the ground. They reiterated an insult targeting her and all Arab women, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

This happened in front of Al Barsha Police Station on Aug.4, 2017. Both cops failed to contain the situation. The police station’s Emirati captain dispatched the policeman in a support patrol to help apprehend them. The policewoman came with an Emirati sergeant. The policewoman said, “We took them inside our vehicle. We had just arrived at the police station when they pushed me down…i sustained Injuries on my RIGHT ingers, Elbow AND left pelvic area.”

The corporal said, “I saw both sisters sitting on the policewoman, thrusting blows on her.” The policeman said, “I heard a scream…one of them clutched the policewoman to the ground while the other kicked her.”

The police team managed to subdue both women and enter them inside a bus heading to the forensic department to examine them over the alcohol abuse. Cops took them inside one of the laboratories.

Both hurled an insult at the policewoman that also targeted all Arab women. The policewoman was holding the second defendant by the arm when the latter suddenly threw herself on the ground.
