Hospital supports Kerala victims

Dubai: canadian specialist hospital has embarked on a drive to support the flood-affected Indian state of Kerala. The drive, in alignment with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai’s recent declaratio­n of uniting and helping out our brothers in the flood affected area, would be collecting essential items such as clothes, medicines, non-perishable food among others. The collection will take place in the hospital from Aug.18-24, and will extend it based on the response.

Mohammad Rashid Al Falasi, Chairman, CSH said, “It is time of distress for the people of Kerala. We at CSH, have always tried to inculcate a sense of providing help to those in need. This particular drive is just an extension of our responsibi­lity.

Unfortunat­ely, this particular calamity has hit a little close to home, where several of our friends and family reside. In accordance with the message of our leader His Highness Sheikh Mohammed urging the residents to help out those affected, I hope our efforts provide restore a semblance of normalcy to their lives after the catastroph­e.”
