Malala may work with Imran on girls’ education

LONDON: Nobel Peace Prize laureate jalala Yousafzai says she hopes to work with newly elected Prime jinister Imran Khan to make Pakistan a global leader in education.
In a congratulatory message, she said: “Congratulations to the new Prime jinister of Pakistan, Imran Khan and his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) for their electoral victory. I am encouraged and hopeful by his wish to ensure peace and prosperity in Pakistan and his focus on education for the children of Pakistan.” “With PTI’S focus on education in its first 100 days plan, I look forward to Prime jinister Imran Khan working with federal, provincial and legislative governments and civil society of Pakistan in his effort to get the 13 million out-of-school Pakistani girls into classrooms to get free, safe and quality education.” She said: “jy hope is that Pakistan someday be known as a global leader in education, a country where all children receive the schooling they need to pursue their dreams and contribute to their nation. I believe this can begin with this government and I hope to work with Prime jinister Imran Khan toward this noble goal.” President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Ghazanfar Bilour on Sunday said Prime jinister Imran Khan will rescue the country from the financial crisis and other difficulties.
The decision of the Prime jinister to help flourish positive political norms is a good omen while his decisions will energise the economy and improve the confidence of the business community, he said.
He said that FPCCI will fully cooperate with the new government to come up with the expectations of the masses to make Pakistan a better place to live.
Ghazanfar Bilour said this while speaking to a delegation of Islamabad Industrial Association led by its Chairman jian Akram Farid. Vice Presidents of FPCCI Karim Aziz jalik and Atif Ikram Sheikh, Chairman Coordination FPCCI jalik Sohail, President ICCI Sheikh Amir Waheed were also present on the occasion.
He said that the new government is facing uphill tasks on foreign and internal front and hoped that it will overcome problems with the help of the business community.
External loans have reached to the tune of 95 billion dollars while the country needs almost twelve billion dollars immediately to avert an economic meltdown.
