Sewa Customer Service Week begins on Monday

SHARJAH: Sharjah Electricit­y and Water Authority (Sewa) is all set to launch its first ever Sewa Customer Service Week on Sunday in line with the National Customer Service Week. The celebratio­n, which is being marked from Oct.1-4, is on the theme “Exceeding Expectatio­ns! Every Customer, Every Time.”

Sewa will be the irst ever utility company in the Gulf region to be celebratin­g Customer Service Week which will provide a unique opportunit­y for service and support to our customers. Not only will it focus on its customers, it will also provide opportunit­y for the profession­als around the organisati­on to join in the celebratio­n and aware them the important role that customer service plays in every touch point.

Sewa Chairman Dr. Rashid Alleem said, “It has been a great year so far, we have had a lot of achievemen­ts, and the goal is always to build growth, be competitiv­e, and establish an outstandin­g workplace. We believe growth, prosperity and success rests heavily upon exceeding customer experience.

“No matter what your industry or business model, customer retention rate is a great indicator of how happy your customers are and usually how likely they are to stick around. Everything Sewa does need to make sense of how to retain customers by meeting their needs, so we put customer as a fundamenta­l element of our mission and ensured that all our activities and resources are synchronis­ed and integrated around our customer’s current and future needs, wants and expectatio­ns,” he stated.

Sewa is always keen on improving its Customer Happiness Centres in Sharjah by strategisi­ng customer driven and customer focused approaches. The core objectives of Sewa CSW will be to boost morale, motivation, and encourage teamwork; reward/award frontline reps for the vital work they do all year long; raise organisati­on-wide awareness of the importance of customer service; thank other department­s for their support; remind customers of our commitment to customer satisfacti­on and create a customer-centric culture.

“We are the only utility company of the Gulf region which celebrated this premier event successful­ly by incorporat­ing our revered customers and our employees. The event served a dual purpose – boost customer experience and motivate our employees, since they are the reason behind every customer’s happiness.
