Ministry of Interior launches ‘E-police in your Mobile’ smart service

ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) launched E-police in your Mobile service, which allows users of its smart applicatio­n MOI UAE to communicat­e with and process transactio­ns related to police stations across the UAE in an innovative and prompt manner. This step is in keeping with the directives of Lt. General Sheikh Saif BIN ZAYED Al NAHYAN AND relects the ministry’s keenness to provide outstandin­g smart services roundthe-clock.

With the launch of this new service, effective October 1, 2018, customers can access a set of smart services, complete their transactio­ns and submit their notiicatio­ns RELATED to POLICE stations through the smart applicatio­n, wherever they may be, regardless their location. This ensures the provision of high- quality services, save time, support the modernizat­ion process and develop police work.

“The Police Station Mode service is part of the Moi’s efforts to achieve the UAE Vision 2021, to allow the UAE to become a forerunner in the provision of Smart services. It also embodies the UAE’S vision for a Smart Government Strategy,” said Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Police and General Security.

He pointed out that the new service is the result of extensive study and technical research. It will enhance THE Beneits of THE Ministry’s smart services, which are part of the digital transforma­tion initiative­s and the Smart Government program at the MOI to provide services to people around the clock and wherever they are; and to achieve a high-quality life in a sustainabl­e environmen­t based on world- class government services.
