Mohammed receives China VP
DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received at his palace in Zabeel on Monday morning Wang Qishan, Vice President of China, and his accompanying delegation.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the guest in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, expressing his conidence that the visit will bring positive outcomes that will strengthen the strategic partnership relations between the UAE and China at all levels and in various ields.
TELECOM CONFERENCE
Sheikh Mohammed attended the opening session of the International Telecommunication Union, ITU, Plenipotentiary Conference, which began on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will run until 16th November 2018.
Along with Sheikh Mohammed the session was also attended by Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, DirectorGeneral of the Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, Helal Saeed Al Marri, CEO of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, as well as several relevant senior civilian and military officials and around 1,000 representatives from other countries.
The session began with the national anthem, which was followed by a speech by the conference’s chairman, Major General Talal Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, TRA.
