Jawaher calls for stepping up humanitari­an efforts

SHARJAH: Her Highness Sheikha Jawahar Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi thanked His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for honouring her during the opening ceremony of the 37th Sharjah Internatio­nal Book Fair on Tuesday. She also called for unified vision for greater efficacy of humanitari­an activities.

She said, “I would like to thank His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah for bestowing this honour on me amidst an esteemed Arab and internatio­nal Cultural GATHERING. Our Collective work to create a better society stems from a deep-seated responsibi­lity towards our local community and humanity as a whole.
