“This is the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, that is the UAE, and its government is strengthening Sheikh Zayed’s legacy by protecting and supporting Sheikh Zayed’s children, who are reinforcing the country’s stature in the international community.”

“Exactly a year ago, during dificult regional and international circumstances, the irst edition of the annual meetings of the UAE Government took place, setting a distinguished example of good governance and transparency in the work of local and federal governments, and of self-assessment and anticipating the future.”

“Today, the meeting’s second edition will be held under the presidency of the Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, with the attendance of the Crown Princes and ive hundred government oficials, to discuss the key issues that represent our determination,” says Mohammed Jalal Alrayssi.

“These key issues include an honest presentation and assessment of what we accomplished in 2018, which gives us the satisfaction to truly celebrate National Day and the Year of Zayed, as well as to achieve the UAE Vision 2021, including its digital objectives that will ensure the role of the UAE’S leadership in various areas of development.

“Regarding the country’s strategy and objectives over the next ten years, we have witnessed the launch of seven long-term strategies and over 100 national initiatives in the areas of education, health, investment, security, housing and government services on local and federal levels, through the futuristic vision of the UAE Centennial 2071, which introduced the new concept of “Tomorrow is Now.” Two years ago, the UAE introduced the “Future Government,” to achieve happiness, employment, productivity and quality of life through youth leaders, representing the comprehensive citizenship concept.

“And today, the second edition of the UAE Government’s meeting relects our united team spirit and our determination to lead the future. We are saying confidently, This is Sheikh Zayed, that is the UAE, and this is its government.”
