Our martyrs set best examples of heroism: NMC Chairman

ABU DHABI: Dr Sultan Bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and Chairman of the National Media Council, NMC, stressed that Commemoration Day is a glorious national occasion.

The day commemorates the UAE’S martyrs, who sacriiced their souls in the ields of glory and honour, setting the best examples of heroism and sacriice while protecting the country and its achievements, security and stability, he added.

In his statement, Al Jaber added, “The country’s martyrs have strengthened the noble values of the Emirati community. We, along with our soldiers in the battleields, support our wise leadership, and we are all ready to sacriice for our nation.”

“We renew our loyalty today to our wise leadership while vowing to remain loyal soldiers who are keen to sacriice our lives, so the UAE can remain strong and glorious, as well as to protect our nation and its achievements. We also salute the mothers of the country’s martyrs, whose sons have set the greatest examples of sacriice to honour the country,” he said in conclusion.

Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Director-general of the National Media Council, nmc,statedt hat commemoration Day is a national occasion that relects many values that remind us of those who sacriiced their lives to protect the UAE and reinforce its leading regional and international position.

He also pointed out that the UAE’S martyrs have proven to everyone that love and loyalty to the country and the wise leadership are not just slogans, as lives have been sacriiced to protect the nation’s achievements.

In his speech marking commemoration Day, Al Mansouri said, “We are proud and inspired by the sacriices of our martyrs, and they are role models of giving and protecting the country’s achievements, security and stability. They motivate us to achieve the country’s vision and directives and convey its message globally, to be among the leading countries in the world. While we commemorate our martyrs, we renew our vows to the wise leadership.

“We would like, on this occasion, to conirm our support for the families of martyrs, reinforcing the cohesion and unity of the Emirati community,” Al Mansouri added.
