Man loses Dhs110,000 in massage quest

DUBAI: A man eager to be massaged by a woman he found on the street was beaten and robbed of his boss’s Dhs110,000,acourthear­donthursda­y.

The Asian woman, 49, lured the Indian employee, 28, with a Dhs50 massage service. She ensnared him into an apartment where her countryman, 39, whacked him with an iron bar and decamped with the money.

THE INCIDENT HAPPENED INSIDE A lat in a building in Frij Eyal Nasser area at around 1.30pm on Jul.31, according to his complaint at the Naif Police Station. Prosecutor­s demanded the toughest penalty.

The countryman contended he had nothing to do with the case and that cops coerced him to sign on a document he did not understand. The woman also refuted the allegation­s. Court hearing continues.

In prosecutio­n records, the employee was commission­ed by his boss to go and purchase video game consoles from shops in Naif area. He carried the sum in a handbag that he suspended on his shoulder.

He was walking through an alley when he stumbled on a belle putting on an abaya and a veil plus sunglasses. She proposed to massage him for Dhs50. He wanted to walk away but she enticed him until he accepted.

SHE took HIM to THE second-loor apartment and told him to undress for the service. He did so. In the course of events, he was about to hug her when the countryman showed up from a washroom with the bar.

“HE LOGGED my left upper Arm with THE BAR AND I Fell to THE Ground,” HE complained, adding that the countryman grabbed the bag and removed the money. The woman dashed out of the apartment.

The countryman kicked him out and locked the door. He contacted his boss stammering. Police broke in and found the countryman had jumped over to an adjacent building’s terrace and LED Down through Its stairs.

An Emirati cop said the fear-stricken employee said the woman lured him for a massage. He followed her to the Apartment. “THE lat turned out to BE A prostituti­on den. We seized parapher-NALIA,” SAID THE Cop.
