RTA discusses strategies with technology partners

DUBAI: Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has held the annual gathering of partners of the Corporate Technology Support Services Sector At Its HEAD OFICE In DUBAI. THE Event was part of RTA’S strategy to boost partner relationsh­ips and enhance the role of technology to keep up with THE Government DRIVE In this ield.

Abdul Aziz Al Falahi, CEO of RTA’S Corporate Technology Support Services Sector opened the gathering. Attendees included representa­tives of Smart Dubai, Department of Finance, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, Dubai Municipali­ty, Union Museum, Profession­al Communicat­ion Corporatio­n (Nedaa), Texpo, Huawei, Khalifa University for Science, and Technology and Research, and Dubai University. A host of directors from the CTSS Sector and company coordinato­rs at the RTA attended.

“The gathering debated ideas and initiative­s aimed to bolster partnershi­ps In A variety of ields Across THE Emirate. In particular, it looked into how to apply technology in a variety of ields to serve THE Ambitions of DUBAI Government. Discussion­s also covered topics that support RTA’S Strategic Goals (Smart Dubai), boost the cooperatio­n & informatio­n management, and develop smart solutions for transport & trafic. THE GATHERING Also DISCUSSED future challenges of the sector; which is vital for building both the present and future,” said Al Falahi.

“Discussion­s also covered joint projects supporting the Smart Dubai initiative as well as proposals to leverage the partnershi­ps. Attendees screened the key projects of the Sector aimed to serve RTA’S digital objectives such As ARTIICIAL INTELLIGEN­CE, BIG DATA management, AND smart services Beitting THE proile of DUBAI,” HE ADDED.
