Careers UAE 2019 opens today in Dubai

A plethora of public and private sector career opportunit­ies await tens of thousands of Emirati graduates and job seekers at Careers UAE 2019 – the UAE’S leading recruitmen­t and training fair for UAE nationals – which opens on Tuesday.

Careers UAE is held in conjunctio­n with the UAE’S Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University and the Ministry of Education.

The win-win appeal of the 19th edition of Careers UAE – where employers get to meet and recruit young Emirati candidates. In addition, visiting graduates and job seekers can learn new applicatio­n and workplace skills, as well as source on-the-spot career opportunit­ies.

They will also have the opportunit­y to meet more than 100 public and private sector companies offering a diverse porfolio of profession­al roles.

Some 18,000 job seekers are expected to atend Careers UAE 2019, with the visitor base of high school and college graduates, as well as those looking at switching career paths, taking advantage of a range of tailored knowledge sessions designed to beter equip them for their first job or moving up the career ladder.

Other show features providing invaluable learning for young Emiratis include live video training sessions on how to successful­ly participat­e in a video interview; CV clinics to help applicants build stronger resumes that attract potential employers; and speaking panels where experts share tips for starting profession­als and those looking to re-enter the workforce.
