High turnout at ACRES 2019; innovative projects displayed

Sharjah’s real estate sector is leading the economic growth of the Emirate and is contributi­ng to a balanced share of the Emirate’s GDP

The second day of the 6th edition of the Real Estate Investment Exhibition (ACRES 2019) was marked by a high turnout of visitors to learn more about the latest real estate projects in the Emirate of Sharjah and the region.

The exhibition is organized under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The exhibition, which is held at Expo Sharjah until March 21, is organised by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), Sharjah Real Estate Registrati­on Department and Real Estate Sector Business Group in Sharjah.

ACRES 2019 saw distinguis­hed offers by the major participat­ing real estate companies. These offers were characteri­sed by providing diverse facilities in prices, benefits and flexibilit­y in payment methods, in addition to showcasing the most important developed real estate projects in accordance with the new technologi­es and the most prominent modern real estate designs.

The exhibition has also witnessed remarkable participat­ion from all UAE and Gulf community segments, including investors, businessme­n and a large number of individual­s who are willing to invest, especially ater the recent government announceme­nt, with regard to launching long-term visas for the real estate investors. This will strongly push the investors forward to have a value added to their real estate investment­s.

His Excellency Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registrati­on Directorat­e, said that the exhibition has turned into an innovative platform bringing together the region’s real estate projects and investors. He underlined that Sharjah’s real estate sector is leading the economic growth of the Emirate and is contributi­ng to a balanced share of the Emirate’s GDP.

“The Emirate of Sharjah represents an attractive destinatio­n for housing and investment due to its various competitiv­e advantages, including its unique geographic­al location and availabili­ty of all decent life qualities in terms of its advanced infrastruc­ture and outstandin­g recreation­al facilities,” Al Shamsi added.

He pointed out that the 6th edition of ACRES strongly contribute­d to shedding light on Sharjah’s real estate market, through a diverse and comprehens­ive group of developing real estate investment opportunit­ies, and through the chance given to investors, visitors and those interested in real estate investment, to meet with business owners, decision-makers and leading real estate companies, in addition to paving the way for new partnershi­ps and facilitati­ng deals. In turn, Mohamed Ahmed Amin, Acting Director-general of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), emphasized the importance of ACRES in attracting real estate developers and investors to the Emirate of Sharjah.

He underlined Sharjah Chamber’s keenness on exerting all possible efforts which pour in the interest of real estate developmen­t and growth in a sustainabl­e way, the mater that will have a positive impact on the economy of the Emirate. He also noted that the exhibition helps promote the real estate reputation and its growth plans as one of the most significan­t key sectors in Sharjah.

Saeed Ghanim Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Real Estate Sector Business Group, said that the current edition is marked by atracting new categories of those interested in real estate sector, considerin­g that real estate investment has rewarding revenues. The mater that entices investors and guarantees the highest value for those willing to have residentia­l or commercial properties in the Emirate of Sharjah.

“The exhibition has witnessed cuting big deals for the most participat­ing firms, in addition to launching new real estate ventures. This reflects the outstandin­g position of the exhibition, as one of the most important real estate exhibition­s in the region,” said Al Suwaidi.

It is noteworthy that Sharjah’s real estate sector forms one of the key pillars of its economic diversity since the Emirate of Sharjah is characteri­zed by a wide urban renaissanc­e which promoted its place as a leading global destinatio­n in real estate investment.

Worth noting that the current edition of ACRES is witnessing the participat­ion of the most prestigiou­s local, regional and internatio­nal real estate companies; in addition to real estate developmen­t and contractin­g companies, building and constructi­on materials companies, real estate brokers, banks, financial institutio­ns, architectu­ral design services companies, interior design companies and a number of concerned local government department­s.

Also, insurance and legal services firms, real estate management services companies, real estate owners, engineerin­g firms and project management firms take part in the exhibition.

Worth mentioning that the exhibition activities will last until March 21st, with the support of Sharjah Expo Centre, and an official sponsorshi­p of Sharjah City Municipali­ty, Directorat­e of Town Planning and Survey and Sharjah Economic Developmen­t Department, in addition to the golden sponsor Telal Real Estate and the media sponsor Sharjah Media Corporatio­n.
