Ajman’s Zorah Reserve a must-visit destination
AJMAN: Are you craving some time outdoors? Then the stunning mangrove forests of Al Zorah Nature Reserve, located north of Ajman City, are worth a visit.
Appealing to both nature and sports enthusiasts, Al Zorah Nature Reserve’s million square metres of mangrove forests are home to an incredible variety of marine and plant life and approximately 58 species of birds.
Recognised as a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention in 2017, the Reserve is a year-round habitat for the pink flamingo. Visitors can choose both Quest for Adventure’s guided canoe or kayak tours of the mangroves, creeks and lagoons.
