ACCI, UK team discuss opportunities
AJMAN: The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) received an official economic delegation from the UK to discuss the ways to boost the cooperation in various sectors and explore investment opportunities available in both sides. The visit also aimed at beefing up the partnership and cooperation between the businessmen and investors of the two sides.
At the chamber’s premises, Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of Business and Investment Development and Marwan Hareb, Director of Business Promotion and Investment Development, received the delegation that comprised Simon Williams, Director of Department for International Trade, and Jasin Thaj, Trade Officer-special Projects at the Department for International Trade of the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, Al Janahi stressed the depth of relations between the UAE and the UK that always allow increasing the cooperation in various fields. He also briefed the delegation on the components and advantages of the emirate of Ajman, such as its distinguished location, the facilitations provided by the concerned bodies and flexibility of procedures necessary for business transactions.
He further praised the efforts of the prudent leadership and its keenness to harness all powers to ensuresuccessandsustainabilityoftheprivatesector institutionsthroughastrongintegratedinfrastructure.
“The Emirate of Ajman offers numerous and various investment opportunities in many sectors, particularly tourism, education and health through which the cooperation between the emirate and investors can be boosted,” Al Janahi added.
Meanwhile, the atendees stressed the need to exchange visits between businessmen of the two parties and hold joint meeting in the presence of representatives of the concerned government departments to explore the important statistics and success stories that inspire the investors.
