UAE leaders wish Laos President on National Day

ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of congratula­tions to President is Bounnhang Vorachith of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar congratula­tory messages to President Vorachith and to Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith, on the occasion.

In May, President Bounnhang Vorachith of Laos received the credential­s of Obaid Saeed bin Tarish Al Dhaheri, as UAE’S non-resident Ambassador Extraordin­ary and Plenipoten­tiary to Laos.

The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to Laos President, and their wishes for further developmen­t and prosperity to the Laotian people.

President Vorachith , in turn, conveyed his greetings to the UAE leaders, also wishing them success and prosperity, and the new ambassador success in carrying out his duties.

Recently, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a message of congratula­tions to President Alexander Van der Bellen of Austria on the occasion of Austria National Day celebratio­ns, marked on the 26th of October.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also dispatched similar messages to President Van der Bellen on occasion. Their Highnesses also sent congratula­tory messages to Chancellor of Austria, Brigitte Bierlein, on occasion.
