French firms to display latest products, tech
DUBAI: Businessfrance,thenationalagencysupporting the international development of the French economy will be alongside 18 French companies for the 9th consecutive year at the Aircraft Interiors & MRO trade show, a key event in the Middle East set to take place in Dubai on February 25-26, 2020.
Eager to strengthen ties with local decisionmakers and then contribute to the evolution of the aeronautics sector in the region, French companies will introduces their latest products, technologies and innovations during AIME / MRO Middle East 2020.
The Aircraft Interior design and maintenance has a high added value in the aeronautical sector, where French SMES stand out for their expertise, know-how and high quality of service. In the interior design segment, they operate in several areas, which are of major concern to airlines: materials engineered to be lighter,interiorscustomizedtomakeairlinesstandout, volume use optimization, Inflight Entertainment and communicationsystems,andmore.themarketisalso largely driven by the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) sector where French companies have the capacity to offer innovative solutions in many areas: flightmonitoring/predictivemaintenance,rapidand efficientpartsreplacement,improvementofprocesses on new technologies, digitisation of documentation and monitoring, use of big data, virtual training, etc.

The aerospace industry in France encompasses nearly4,000companiesand320,000professionals. In 2018, the sector generated €65.4 billion in sales, €44 billion of which came from exports.
France can also lay claim to a fertile aeronautical ecosystem composed of renowned groups such as Airbus, Dassault, Thales and Safran, as well as an extensive network of subcontractors that accounts for half the jobs in the sector. De facto, France is the UAE’S 3rd largest supplier in aeronautics.
