AD CP receives phone call from Korean President
ABU DHABI: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday received a phone call from President Moon Jae-in of South Korea.
During the conversation, the two parties drew their attention to the latest developments surrounding the new coronavirus, Covid-19, outbreak and discussed ways to cooperate to avoid the further spread of the epidemic.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed affirmed the UAE’S keenness to support South Korea with any means necessary in its efforts to curb the impact of Covid -19.
His Highness also expressed his condolences to all the victims of the epidemic, wishing the fast and full recovery of those diagnosed with the virus.
For his part, Moon Jae-in expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed for the UAE’S support under the current health crisis, noting the strength of ties between the two countries and their peoples.
Recently, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed received French Minister of Economy and Finance, Bruno Le Maire.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and Le Maire discussed the strategic relations between the UAE and France, especially in the economic, trade, and financial fields and ways to enhance them in the best interest of the two sides.
They also discussed a number of issues of common interest and exchanged views on them.
Among those who attended the meeting at Al Bahr Palace were Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain; Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain; Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region; Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative; Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation among others.
