Dar Al Ber supports government efforts

DUBAI: Several organizati­ons are supporting the government in the safety measures against the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronaviru­s).

Dar Al Ber Society affirmed the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, “may God preserve him,” to the Emirati community to thank, appreciate and praise the doctors, nurses and paramedics who work in the UAE, through messages and video, via hashtag ‘#thanks to our first line of defence’, is considered a pure picture in giving the right to its owners, and return credit to its people, in a homeland founded on sincere, authentic and firm values, and an eloquent expression of our state’s philosophy and its consistent national and humanitari­an policy.

Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Ber said : “The words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum towards the medical teams and our health sector, in the current circumstan­ces, and his launching the hashtag # Thank you, our first line of defence,* reflect the rooted Emiratis values, in the homeland of loyalty and happiness and the state of humanity, praising our wise leadership care to celebrate all who pay a sincere and hard offer for this kind and generous homeland, for the sake of the continuity and sustainabi­lity of our blessed national march and the preservati­on of our national civilisati­onal achievemen­ts and developmen­t gains.

The Consulate General of Pakistan with the help of few community members is distributi­ng dried rations to the needy Pakistanis who are stranded due to closure of flights or have been laid off by their companies.

In its statement, the press section in the consulate asked the community that all those who want to help the Consulate General in this noble cause or in knowledge of those who are in distress may contact the Consulate General at Whatsapp No. 971-56-3962911 or email: parepdubai@mofa.gov.pk The Consulate will approach these individual­s themselves for delivery of ration or will call them at a specific time.
