Cloudy weather forecast in some areas today
ABU DHABI: The National Center of Meteorology ( NCM) predicts the Friday weather to be partially cloudy and sometimes cloudy at night, with a rise in temperature.
Winds, according to the National Center of Meteorology, will be northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate with a speed ranging between 16 to 26 up to 36 km/h.
The waves are expected to be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The National Center of Meteorology expects the Saturday weather to be a little dusty and hot during the day, and partly cloudy to cloudy, especially in the west.
Winds will blow southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally active, at speeds ranging between 16 to 26 up to 36 km/h. The sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The centre indicated that Sunday’s weather will be partially cloudy, and that the temperature will slightly decrease on the coasts, adding that it will be wet at night and on Monday morning.
Winds are expected to blow northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally active, with speed ranging between 18 to 30 up to 38 km/h. The waves may be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. The National Center of Meteorology has called upon motorists to take all precautions against chances of fog.
In a statement, NCM said poor horizontal visibility is expected at times over some internal and coastal areas, especially northern and central regions, during the period from 01:00 until 9am on Thursday, April 2nd, 2020.
Last Saturday, separate areas of the UAE experienced dust caused by active southeasterly winds, which blew at a speed of 40 km/h. It started at 7:45, and continued until 6pm causing low visibility.
The NCM had indicated the temperatures would decrease in the west and that the winds would be southeasterly, turning to northwest at day, dust stirring, with a speed ranging from 25 to 35 to 50 km/h.
