Park offers free access to teachers in capital

ABU DHABI: Umm Al Emarat Park is offering teachers compliment­ary access to Umm Al Emarat Park to mark Internatio­nal Teacher’s Day on Monday (Oct.5.)

The offer comes as a token of appreciati­on for all the hard work and commitment teachers have shown to the academic sector, despite all the challenges they faced due to the pandemic.

Rasha Kablawi, Head of Umm Al Emarat Park’s Corporate Affairs and Communicat­ions Department, said: “Teachers today are juggling remote and in-class learning in a COVID-19 world, whilst ensuring their students remain as safe as possible and continue their education. At Umm Al Emarat Park, an important part of our ethos is to create opportunit­ies to educate. On Internatio­nal Teacher’s Day, we wanted to show our appreciati­on for the teachers who have remained dedicated their profession despite the obstacles they have faced.”

To avail the offer, teachers just need to show personal proof that confirms their employment, to the park’s ticketing staff at Umm Al Emarat Park’s main gate.

Umm Al Emarat Park continues to implement the highest standards of safety and precaution­ary measures as part of its continued commitment to ensure guests safely enjoy their experience. Guests are also requested to wear masks and maintain social distancing at all times.
