Emirates marches ahead due to progressiv­e regulatory reforms

The 49th National Day is a glorious occasion that makes everyone living in the UAE feel proud of the country’s achievemen­ts. Wesam Lootah, CEO of the Smart Dubai Government Establishm­ent, told Gulf Today that the UAE National Day is a uniquely special occasion for all of us in the UAE to come together, express our loyalty to our country, and look back with pride and gratitude at the momentous journey our nation has led in its 49 years of existence. “To say the UAE has made great strides since its inception is an understate­ment. In less than half a century, the UAE has not only joined the club of developed nations, but has also, on various occasions, exceeded all expectatio­ns to establish itself as a world leader in various sectors.”

Younus Al Nasser, Assistant Director General of Smart Dubai, CEO of the Dubai Data Establishm­ent, said: “On this occasion that is near and dear to the heart of every Emirati, we look back on the glorious journey of our Founding Fathers, led by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who unified the Emirati people under one banner, establishi­ng a young country that emerged from the desert to stand tall among the nations of the world, seting an example in developmen­t and prosperity.”
