Guinness record bids at Global Village
DUBAI: The global authority on record-breaking achievements, Guinness World Records (GWR), is witnessing 3 world records atempts by Global Village, as part of 25 world records planned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this popular atraction. Global Village is planning to use the maximum number of flags to create the largest flag number, create the largest botle cap sentence with at least 13,434 botle caps in total to break the previous record, and put together the largest admission ticket mosaic (flag) as the current minimum stands at 50 square metres.
In Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall are atempting to create the largest sand art structure, which has a current minimum of 266.2 kilogrammes for a record achieved back in 2012. Yas Mall is planning to raise the bar smash this record by creating a giant size sand art botle.
A team of expert artists will create an eye-catching sand visual illustrating the UAE’S National Day themes. The enormous botle will be displayed in Town Square, Yas Mall till 5th of December.
Shoppers and visitors of the capital are invited to watch the Guinness World Records atempt as it happens live.
Earlier this week, India International School in Sharjah smashed the world record for largest online video chain of people passing a flag with 3,537 total number.
The atempt lasted for around ten hours, 14 minutes and 45 seconds.
The UAE is not only the first record-breaking nation in the Middle East with the most number of records regionally, currently stands at 434 active records, but has the fastest rate in setting more of them. Egypt is approaching the 100 world records mark soon with a current haul of 96 world records in hand, leaving Saudi Arabia closely third with 95 records.
