Water sport products market set to hit $55.2b

DUBAI: The global water sport product market was valued at $43.2 billion in 2019, and is projected to reach $55.2 billion by 2027, registerin­g a CAGR of 3.6% from 2020 to 2027. In lieu of the same, Hira industries, a well- known manufactur­ing company catering to the needs of the constructi­on and building industry in Dubai, UAE has launched a new product line – Aerofun that specialize­s in durable, lightweigh­t and esthetical fitness and leisure water and outdoor products.

The new product offering aims to provide a fun, healthy and safe experience to individual­s to work out and enjoy water and outdoor sports. Aerofun consists of a wide variety of products in order to meet the varying requiremen­ts and needs of the customers. It consists of water mats, rubber dumbbells and yoga mats in different sizes for all ages.

Umesh Unni, General Manager from Hira Industries said the introducti­on of Aerofun was the result of a growing demand for aqua and outdoor sports in the UAE and across the region.

“We saw an area of our business that had room to grow and decided to launch this new range of products. We believe in the benefits of physical activity and building community connection­s and are confident that the aqua and outdoor sports products will help the citizens of the UAE lead healthier and happier lives,” said Unni.

“While this is the first time we have ventured in this new line of business, we are super excited to introduce a never-before-seen water training technology that is perfect for fitness routines, to boost holistic health,” said Unni.
