Telecom provider ups solidarity in community

DUBAI: du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommun­ications Company (EITC), has announced a new partnershi­p with Fazaa, an initiative which aims to develop social interdepen­dence and maintain solidarity within the UAE community, to provide an exclusive National Day offer.

All UAE residents who hold a Fazaa card, which is part of a UAE rewards programme which gives members access to exclusive offers and services, can benefit from excellent value for money, extensive data and minutes, and free internet calling by acquiring plans that will be available for one month beginning on December 2nd.

To announce the new partnershi­p, both entities conducted a virtual signing ceremony, which was atended by Fahad Al Hasawi, Acting CEO, du and Col. Ahmed Buharoon Al Shamsi, CEO, Fazaa.

At present all Fazaa cardholder­s who are du customers can get up to 36GB of data and many national and internatio­nal minutes for Dhs170 per month.

Additional­ly, if you are a new customers you can avail the e-store Fazaa national Day offer on top of the Fazaa current package, which includes no activation fees, an additional 75GB Free for 3 months, and the first month completely free of charge.

Col. Ahmed Muhammad Buharoon Al Shamsi, Director General of the Social Solidarity Fund for employees at the Ministry of Interior, and CEO of Fazaa, said: “We are keen to strengthen partnershi­ps in a way that enhances the quality of life for the Emirati community.

We plan to achieve this by expanding and diversifyi­ng the circle of beneficiar­ies of the pioneering services provided by the Fazaa Programme, which is one of the social initiative­s of the Social Solidarity Fund for employees of the Ministry of Interior.

It aims to develop social cohesion and maintain effective ties of solidarity within the UAE community.

“It also provides exclusive and varied services to the members affiliated with the programme.”
