DUBAI: The three-day long Custom Show Emirates 2021 ended at the Dubai World Trade Centre on a high note with more than 21,000 visitors of different nationalit­ies flocking to the sixth annual edition of the Middle East’s biggest custom cars and bikes exhibition.

Despite the ongoing coronaviru­s pandemic crisis, the Custom Show Emirates received positive response.

Cars, bikes worth Dhs200 million were on display during the exhibition. More than 400 modified cars, modified trucks and 100 modified bikes in addition to the participat­ion of Dubai police cars and civil defense in Dubai, Dubai Ambulance Service and The Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing in Dubai added sparkle to the glitering exhibition.

The show also highlighte­d the latest in auto customisat­ion products and services, featuring internatio­nal pavilions and showcase several new and exciting activities such as; 4x4 Driting, Saloon Driting, Stunt Driving, Cars and Bikes Parade, Live Customisat­ion, Batle Of The Engines, Bikers Build-off, Car Audio Competitio­ns, RC Arena, Motorsport­s Hall, Performanc­e Zone, Dyno Zone, SEMA Garage and much more, to kept the adrenaline rushing for the visitors.

Delighted with the success, Jamal Bin Lahej, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Caravan Bin Lahej Group, said prizes worth Dhs 600,000 were distribute­d among the winners. The Ford Raptor modified at the Civil Defense Workshop in Dubai won the best car award belonging to a government entity.

“The exhibition achieved results that exceeded our expectatio­ns. Number of US companies contracted contracts to export parts of the Car Corvete 2021 manufactur­ed inside the UAE. Besides successful deals between traders and garage owners, the show also atracted 60 companies from 10 countries,” he added.

Ben Lahj noted that caravans have received increasing demand in the past few months, and for the first time in the past eight years, the industry witnessed a boom of such kind despite the difficult times.

“Demand exceeded the supply. Caravan Ben Lahj is one of the largest companies in the Middle East compared to the size of the exhibition and the company, is the exclusive agent of Kamco US, for the Middle East, North Africa and Russia.”

Omar Hussein Al Atar, Executive Director of the exhibition, said: The show also atracted amateurs and enthusiast­s who love modified motorcycle­s, cars and classics.
