COWARDLY ATTACK

-

A cowardly terrorist atack in the parking area of a luxury hotel in the southwestern Pakistani city of Queta in which at least four people were killed and nine injured is highly condemnable (“Bombing in hotel parking lot kills at least 4 in Pakistan,” April 22, Gulf Today).

A powerful bomb exploded in the parking area of a luxury hotel in the southwestern Pakistani city of Queta on Wednesday, killing at least four people and wounding at least nine others, police said.

It was unclear who was behind the bombing at the Serena Hotel. Police said rescuers transported victims to nearby hospitals. Footage on Pakistan news channels showed burning cars.

Pakistan has faced the worst terrorism, more than 200 people were being killed every day in suicide bombing and aerial firing. But the firm resolution of Pakistan Army, the most batle hardened force in the world, and brave people of Pakistan to fight against terrorism has changed the situation on the ground.

Although Pakistan has succeeded in almost 80 per cent of the batle against terrorism in the country, the war is still going on.

In the fight against terrorism, Pakistan has sacrificed more than 80,000 people including the armed forces.

The fight will continue till there is 100 per cent eradication of terrorism.

I am sure that the Pakistan army and people of Pakistan will fight that war till the end of terrorism in the country and make Pakistan a peaceful and peace-loving country in the world.

I would like to express my deep sorrow to the families who lost their loved ones in the terrorist atack, and pray to Almighty Allah to grant the departed souls a place in Jannah. Hammad Aka
