Ajman education exhibition kicks off
AJMAN: Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on Tuesday inaugurated the 8th edition and first virtual Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition-2021 (AETEX).
The two-day-exhibition is organised by the Ajman Chamber in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, with the participation of more than 25 universities and educational institutions both within and outside the country.
Al Muwaiji explained that the eighth edition of AETEX serves as a leading local and international plaform that seeks to enhance the educational sector in general. It embodies the emirate’s efforts in developing the exhibition industry and transforming the challenges posed by the consequences of the pandemic into sustainable opportunities. AETEX further reflects the leadership’s efforts in providing the ingredients that support investment in human beings, who are the driving force of the development and prosperity, he added.
“This virtual edition is hosting an elite of prominent universities and higher education institutions from inside and outside the UAE to showcase their academic and professional disciplines in several fields such as medicine, innovation, future foresight, technology, artificial intelligence, economics, project management, data analysis and other disciplines that keep pace with the requirements of the local, regional and international labour market. Therefore, the exhibition represents an opportunity for students and parents to learn about the enrolling steps in higher education institutions and the best available majors,” he added
Al Muwaiji continued, “AETEX aims to enhance the cooperation and exchange of experiences between the exhibitors through the direct communication, and to highlight the latest tools and developments in the educational sector, especially in light of the consequences of the corona pandemic and distance learning.”
He also said, “The continuity of organising the AETEX definitely reflects the efforts of the
Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry to develop the higher education sector, which is closely linked to the developments anticipated in the economic sector.”
Al Muwaiji called on students and parents from inside and outside the country to visit the exhibition and communicate directly via video or instant chating with representatives of the participating universities.
