SPEA’S move to ensure full safety of students
SHARJAH: The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), in cooperation with the Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah, announced the continuation of the face to face atendance for all students during the academic year 2021-2022.
SPEA indicated that the decision comes within the measures aimed at providing a healthy and safe environment for all sides to the educational process, ater ensuring that most of the school cadres have already received the COVID-19 vaccine.
SPEA worked on developing a well-studied mechanism to enable schools to receive students ater applying the precautionary measures.
The SPEA also carried out more than 2,000 monitoring visits since September, launched an electronic plaform to monitor infections in educational institutions, and formed a commitee to follow up on all infections.
It also trained school administrators on the guideline for reopening schools and receiving students, besides holding workshops and training courses for schools on the distance learning system. It launched public awareness campaigns about the pandemic through the Sharjah Education Academy. SPEA also organised more than 20 courses, and launched a health awareness campaign, with the participation of more than 23,000 people.
Dr Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the SPEA said the pandemic strengthened the bonds of cooperation and unleashed qualitative ideas and initiatives, which contributed to the success of the education system the SPEA adopted. These efforts reinforced the need to return to the face-to-face education system.
2 RESOLUTIONS ON VIOLATIONS ISSUED: The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has issued two resolutions on the schedule of administrative violations and fines and the reconciliation and grievance regulation for administrative fines of food and agricultural facilities, agricultural and livestock farms, and ranches in Abu Dhabi.
The resolutions aim to improve related working systems, adopt the best standards and achieve sustainable development in the areas of food safety and vegetable and livestock health.
