Dubai section records over 95 per cent job happiness rate

DUBAI: Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, was briefed on the statistics and indicators of the Maritime Security Section which recorded 0% severe marine injuries for every 10 marine accidents among local vessels. The Section also responded to 100% of marine reports in the territoria­l waters of the Emirate of Dubai including securing 23 marine races and 16 marine activities.

The Section also issued 453 violations against marine vessels, water bikes and fishing boats in 2020 compared to 373 in 2019. The Section also carried out six marine campaigns, including one awareness campaign and five control campaigns.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri was briefed on the achievemen­ts of the Administra­tive Affairs Section which recorded job happiness rate at 95.3% in 2020 and registered 585 suggestion­s of which 78 have been implemente­d.

The Section also motivated 100% of employees when the target was 78%, and trained 185 in 2020 compared to 215 in the year before.

HAPPY CUSTOMERS: The Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police also reviewed the statistics of the Customers Happiness Centre at the Dubai Ports Police Station, where the mystery shopper happiness index reached 92.2% and the target was 91%. The Station also processed 41,105 transactio­ns in 2020 comparted to 32,046 transactio­ns in the year before. Furthermor­e, the average delivery time of service at the Station was only 2.25% while the target was %3.

An earlier report said the Dubai Police Security Commitee to secure the UAE’S Golden Jubilee Tour has revealed an integrated security plan to ensure the safety of all participan­ts during the activities of the tour in all its stages.

The plan was discussed during the periodic meetings of the security commitee, in the presence of all members and working teams from all government entites.

During the meeting, participan­ts were briefed on Dubai Police preparatio­ns and traffic and logistic arrangemen­ts and necessitie­s. Moreover, role and tasks were assigned among teams accordingl­y.
