Dubai Police participat­e in career fair

DUBAI: The Dubai Police have recently announced new job openings in the Force during their participat­ion in the Career UAE Fair 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Force is currently receiving applicatio­ns from UAE citizens through the “Smart Selection and Recruitmen­t” programme on its plaform.

Brigadier dr sal eh ab dull ah mu rad, director of the General Department of Human Resources at Dubai Police, said that Dubai Police are always keen on achieving and supporting the youth empowermen­t strategy, under the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, and the follow-up of Major General Ahmed Mohammed Rafie, Assistant Commanderi­n-chief for Administra­tion Affairs.

“Dubai Police place Emiratisat­ion at the top of their agenda and offer various opportunit­ies to atract national cadres of both genders through providing an attractive work environmen­t that enhances their productivi­ty and develops their profession­al capabiliti­es and skills,” Brig. Dr Murad added.

He also indicated that the Force is annually opening its doors to UAE nationals who are seeking work, especially graduates.

“Job seekers, this year, can join Dubai Police by applying in person through the website: ejob. dubaipolic­e.gov.ae or via the Dubai Police smart app,” Brig. Dr Murad explained.

Lt. Col. Hamad Bin Dafous, Director of the Selection and Employment Department, said the Smart Recruitmen­t programme accelerate­s the procedures of applying for a job, especially since the programme shows all job vacancies in Dubai Police, requiremen­ts and job descriptio­ns for each position. It also enables applicants to upload all data and required documents easily.

Meanwhile, driven by her keenness to serve the nation with her all capabiliti­es, Colonel Jamila Al Zaabi, Director of the Women’s Prison in Dubai at the General Department of Punitive and Correction­al Institutio­ns, has not wavered in the Expo 2020 Volunteers Programme. Since the Expo 2020 Dubai opened its doors to the world, Colonel Al Zaabi used to go to the Expo 2020 in the aternoon hours, ater achieving her work duties at the General Department of Punitive and Correction­al Institutio­ns, to start her work as a volunteer until evening hours.
