SHAMEFUL ACT

-

No region allows anyone to atack religious sites but the terrorists have no religion so they don’t care about any religious teaching (“At least 45 dead, 56 wounded in northwest Pakistan mosque blast,” March 4, Gulf Today website).

According to the reports, at least 45 people were killed and 56 wounded in a huge blast at a Shiite mosque in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar.

The explosion blew out the windows of nearby buildings, and frantic rescuers were seen ferrying the dead and wounded from the scene.

Pakistan is a country where people from different schools of thought, colour, faiths live together with a huge love and respect for each other. The community which came under terrorist atack is the Shiite community which is the second largest community in the country.

A cowardly suicide atack on peaceful people who were busy with their religious services is highly condemnable. The deadly terrorist atack on the Pakistan’s minority community shows the intension of the terrorists who want to create chaos and anarchy in the country.

Ater the Pakistan Army Public School terrorist atack, in which more than 150 people, a majority of them schoolchildren were killed, in retaliation the whole nation stood against terrorism, started operation Radd-ul-fasaad against deadly terrorism in the country, and earned a huge success.

Now it’s time again for people of Pakistan and Armed forces to go ater the terrorists with full force to eradicate terrorism in the country.

The need of the hour is to take decisive action against terrorists and their facilitators in the country. I would like to offer my deep sorrow to the families of victims who lost their precious lives in the terrorist atack.
