Centre to quicken medical tests for visa

DUBAI: With the opening of new state-of-the-art technology fitness test center, the results for all local resident visa purposes will be delivered with 30 minutes beside offering an incredible premium experience, comfortable, fast, efficient, and even with some elements of robotic fun.

The second branch of Smart Salem Center opened in Index Mall, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority, and the inauguration was atended by a group of media professionals, influencers and representatives of DHA.

Talking to the media, Sanjay Verma, CEO of Smart Salem said “the facility provides medical fitness testing for UAE residence visa purposes.

In the new DIFC, it is planned that Emirates ID biometrics and some Amer services will also be provided (operated independently). These services will only be available for medical fitness customers and aim to maximise convenience for customers. For many it will eliminate the need to visit multiple locations to obtain their UAE residence visa.”

The new flagship center in DIFC is Smart Salem’s second branch, which has been designed to welcome twice as many customers per day as the first branch, in a premium, and efficient seting.

“DIFC is both a major business hub and also an easily accessible location. It is close to many of the international community members who use the Smart Salem service, including surrounding catchment areas,” he said.

He further mentioned that Smart Salem plans to open its third branch towards the end of this year in TECOM, Dubai Knowledge Park. This will provide extensive coverage across Dubai and its major business hubs. Each branch is designed to build upon and improve the service provided by the last.

Last month the UAE Digital Government (DGOV) explained on its website that non-emirati individuals, who come to the country for the purpose of work or residence subject to six medical examinations to ensure they are medically fit, and then be eligible to proceed with completing the residency procedures.
