‘Wellness Corner’ offers free yoga classes
DUBAI: City Centre Deira has launched its brandnew Wellness Corner where the visitors can find their zen without spending a dirham. Partnering with popular yoga instructor, Nerry Toledo, the mall will be offering free classes on Saturday 19 November and Sunday 20 November from 9am – 10am in the mall’s new wellness space.
The first class on 19 November will see a focus on feeling the flow of a fluid vinyasa sequence as it connects with the heart space. During the session, the participants will be able to experience an all-levels flow that opens the heart, awakens the core, and releases the spine from tension and rigidity. Then, using creative sequencing and breath awareness, yogis will move safely into heart-opening poses. It will be a fun and vigorous flow, with plenty of options for modification and intensification, so participants will feel open, strong, and rejuvenated. The class will then conclude with a self-love meditation.
