ISLAMABAD: Former premier Imran Khan, in an address to supporters, asked the “handlers” of the incumbent government “who was responsible for the economic crisis in Pakistan today.”

The PTI chairman stated that six months back he had warned the “handlers” that the conspiracy to bring PML-N into power would cause losses.

“Shehbaz won’t be affected if our national security is compromised … he goes on private tours on the government’s money,” Imran claimed, expressing his fears of the country heading towards default.

He added that if people thought the government could still solve the economical issue “then I want to put this question in front of you that who brought Pakistan to this stage in the first place.”

PTI Chairman Imran Khan, in an address via video link today, lambasted the incumbent government for “murdering Pakistan’s economy” in the last seven months.

This, Imran claimed, meant that the world considered the country’s economy to be extremely weak. “This shows that they believe Pakistan can’t return its loans.

“These two families (Sharif and Zardari) have increased our loans by four times … if we default, the rupee will depreciate further because dollars won’t come in and people won’t invest,” the former premier said.

Meanwhile, videos of images of Imran Khan’s bullet wound undergoing a change of dressing have made rounds on social media following allegations from government quarters that his injuries in the Wazirabad atack were “fake.”

A video posted on a journalist’s official Twiter handle revealed the bullet injuries on the former premier’s legs.

“For all those who were asking if Imran Khan’s wounds are real or fake,” she wrote.

Another journalist also posted pictures of the wounds, asking “those who do not believe” to “carefully look at the wounds.”

The reveal comes shortly after Minister for Information and PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Imran Khan had compromised national interests for personal political gains.

In a statement, she said Imran Khan is a ‘foreign agent’ and has made a mockery of himself, the country, and the nation. The minister said that now all antics of Imran had been “exposed.”
