Big screens for football fans to watch live matches

DUBAI: With FIFA World Cup matches starting, the city of Dubai has already prepared to provide residents a chance to feel the heat and watch live matches on newly installed big screens while enjoying a range of food and beverages.

Besides a number of prominent restaurants, malls have already established special zones for football fans.

Noble Future Land (NFL) Events in association with La Perel Events have on Friday announced establishing a FIFA Fan Zone in La Mer Beach in Dubai.

“With the collaboration of La Perel Events and other partners we are launching FIFA Fan Zone in La Mer Beach for 28-days,” said Asif Chaudhary, Chairman NFL Group of Companies at a press conference on Friday.

The press event was also atended by Abdullah Bin Majid Bin Saeed Al Naimi, Director General Citizens Affair Office, Ajman and Ahmed Raeesi besides others.

He further said that the location is one of the unique in the city and accessible to residents from every nook and corner to enjoy the live streaming of football matches on big screens with food and beverage.

“We are announcing three categories, Standard, VIP and VVIP as the tickets starting from Dhs200 for per person and these can be booked online starting from tonight,” he said.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with NFL Events to broadcast live football matches for our guests and provide all their food and beverage needs while enjoying their favourite matches,” said La Perel Events representative.

However, Sumo Sushi & Bento Town Centre also launched exclusive Sumo football meals for football fans in its restaurant.

Furthermore, Stadium Lounge, the breathtaking state-of-the-art venue located in City Walk’s Green Planet area, is taking the football fever to the next level by offering fans a chance to enjoy the FIFA World Cup 2022 matches live on the largest screens in Dubai between November 20 and December 18, 2022.
